We have recently come upon an electrical design that has a main contactor controlling the bussing in an electrical panel. The panel is a 120/208 volts with the coil on the contactor is designed as 277 volts. The contactor is to be installed in a panel extension. Is this allowable by code to have multiple voltages in the same panel?
