multiwire branch circuit, different conduits!!

I thought i seen it all, but here recently i seen where there was a remodle and there are 2 phases that apparently share a neutral at one junction box, but when i traced them back to the panel, they (2 hots and 1 neutral) do NOT enter the same conduit. they go into seperate conduits with other circuits.

I checked it twice, just to be sure! The only thing i can see helping this 'emf' scenerio is the other circuits in the conduits, but this multiwire thats is seperated at the panel just seems like someone just wasnt paying attention.

Any one else run stuff (mess) like this one lately?

Yep,

08 Nec wants the neutral marked with the hots when they enter a panel.
So you know which neutral goes with what hot wire.
If two neutals are in the same pipe. Does one have to be striped or grey.
I guess some sort of tag, Perhaps a tie wrap.

I think that is a good addition to the nec. At least it actually makes sence, unlike some of the other junk we have to abide by.
