multiwire circuit and GFCI

Can a GFCI receptacle be put on each circuit of a multiwire circuit with a shared neutral?
this extra info is because I am required to have 100 characters in the post,
I have had issues in the past trying to place two GFCI receptacles on a multibranch circuit
however, I may have done something wrong

Yes, as long as you split the shared neutral ahead of the line terminals:

(Note: Any load wiring should be run as two individual 2-wire circuits.)
