Hello - This charger requires 32 amps and the outlet is going in the garage. I was going to run 8-3 romex. I was trying to decide what kind of box to use in the drywall and I think I need a box at least 24 cu in ? What boxes have you guys used? I’m using a 14-50 outlet.Thanks

I would find a stud and surface mount a 4 sq box with a raised industrial cover. You could use a remodel box (2-gang) but the force of plugging/unplugging could break the drywall.
