MV CABLE OVERLAPPING

We are installing a MV cable 15 KV. During installation, in one of manhole MV cables has inevitably to overlap each other. The objection is being raised that MV cables are not allowed to overlap each other, Is there any code or standard that forbids such installation.

The cable under Co sideratio is a multicore cable
