MV Switchgear Exhaust Gases due Short Circuit

Normally if building has h>= 4 meters could be avoided DUCT RELIEF and Switchgear will be provided with TOP CHIMNEY SOLUTION.

Even if we go with TOP CHIMNEY, what about that toxic gases in terms of HSE or ATEX issues.

What is your opinion? Is mandatory goes with DUCT RELIEF? In this case shall be consulted HSE or ATEX teams?
 
We typically only see switchgear being vented when it is Arc Flash resistant. The chimney and other duct work need to follow the switchgear manufacturers guidance.
