Looking for some advice on transformer installation.
I am a manufacture of concrete shelter enclosures. I have received a dry type resin cast transformer from a customer overseas and they want us to put it in one of our shelters. It is a 630kva, 12,500v xmfr. If the only way you can enter the transformer vault is by using a MV switch to disconnect power and LOTO the switch, what clearances do I need to adhere to? Will this even work in this space? They way we have intended to set it up is the entrance to the transformer side is interlocked with the switch, once power is disconnected the door can then be opened. I have attached a picture of the floor plan. I do have an EE scheduled to review this.
