I still use one, I used it today in fact. I bought it used at the flea market for 5 bucks like 15 years ago and sent it to Simpson for repair and recalibration. Came back looking and working like new and I don't think they charged me much

I still have mine, and a Triplett 630 equivalent. I use them for measuring VFD output voltages, which confuses most DMMs that cost under $1k. I wouldn't have known where to go to get them repaired any more though... Now I do!
