Mystery Connector

Was hoping someone on this forum might be able to help my identify this connector. I need to be able to source a new for a project for a customer who insists its an Anderson connector, however I have found nothing like this in their catalog. Looks to me like a pin and sleeve connector and the body is the earth connection. This is used for shore power on Navy docks.

Do you need to mate with anything existing? If so you need to find out exactly what it is, there are some weird older connectors that don't mate with anything new.
 
I found my definitive answer. It is a NABSON 5609G23. Local supplier has them for the meager sum of 3.1 kilo-bucks.

Annnd this is why the govt has been transitioning to COTS parts.....

I doubt the nabson connector is compatible with commercial pin and sleeve connectors, or if they do mate there might be a spec prohibiting it. I googled the part number and saw a reference to manufactured on demand old style 1994 connector.

Have you reached out the Nabson directly?
 
These are bronze, the Appleton / Killark / Russel Stoll / Crouse Hinds ones are aluminum. Aluminum would not stand up to marine duty. but if you are not using it for a marine application, you might find that they interchange.
