The one thing worse then having someone push all the buttons in a elevator car is a rider deciding to open the inner doors while the car is in motion, which resulted in it coming to a halt :( then a short timeout before the car started moving again, this incident happened to me somewhere between the lobby and the 23rd floor at 2 Shell Plaza in Houston, and no I was not the one who did it .....:D

BTW it did have all of us spooked.

some of the elevators I have been in have a button that resets all the buttons when someone does that.

They are installed at every light through this residential area probably 1/2 mile and light every 2/3 streets It is pure genius.

Around here they have the same thing, but no radar guns. There are sensing coils in the roadway spaced about 10 ft apart that measure speed based on time difference. Of course the locals like me just slow down at the sensor (you can see the pavement cuts) and go like mad after the sensor. People wonder why we slow down and speed up.

I have an aunt that drives like that even when there are no lights around, and we all wonder why.

It's fun to get seasick on solid ground.
