Regarding nail protection. I recently witnessed 2 electrical sub panels installed in a 2x 4 stud wall,
about to be dry walled. The romax cables running into the back of the sub panel were flush with the back of the dry wall about tobe installed.
Nail protection plates were installed on both sides of the double top plates and on the sole plate at the base of the stud wall.
I noted that there was NO protection at the entry of the romax cables entering the top of the sub panel. This lack of protection made me shiver in my safety boots. Would appreciate commentary on this
