What do some of you call this piece? It is imprinted with JBA, undoubtedly meaning junction box adaptor. I have heard that name, terminal adaptor and sometimes push penny. I have never sent out for them and been sent the right thing. Most houses send male adaptors. They also go by terminal adaptor.

It's a box adapter, effectively a chase nipple, but fits into PVC conduit instead of a locknut.

Box adapter or union end or PVC expansion fitting

I call them box adapters, but SH's seem to have no clue what I'm talking about most of the time
If I call it a PVC chase nipple then what is pictured is what they typically would give me. I think product catalogs usually call them box adapters though.

Thanks all of you. I have always liked these since I first saw them. Low profile, smooth edge, easy to add to existing installs, etc. But I have to be at the counter to get the right thing. No matter what I call it, clerk will bring out something different.

Put a picture of one on your phone to show them.
