Hello guys and gals.
I have a dc motor with the following data for the field windings:
field-stab shunt
max volts-300
max current at 25'C-2.5
HOT amps-1.39/1.17
What is meant by stab shunt and HOT amps?
Would you use the HOT amps data to put in a parameter on a drive called "nominal field current"?
