At 10:52 PST tonight NASA's supposed to crash a probe into a comet. It might be visible but I'm not sure.

I haven't been to a NASA site yet to see what they'll do with it. Thanks!

This is way too cool. I'm watching like some kind of real time mission control stuff from JPL in Pasadina Ca.

Re: NASA Colision

How is it that NASA can control robots and spacecraft millions of miles away yet I can't get my TV remote to work half the time? ;)

They are also broadcasting the event on NASA TV on the DISH Network. Channel 213 in neck of the woods.

Re: NASA Colision

I thought it was a might odd that I saw the impact celebration about three minutes sooner on the TV news than on the NASA channel.

And I only got to see a few seconds of the comet from some distance less than 10 miles. Nothing that was intelligable of the impact. I guess I'll have to wait for the computer aided release. :(
