National Pricing catalog

Re: National Pricing catalog

Most suppliers do not print the prices in a catalog. Prices are volatile and always changing.

Graybar has a catalog that includes some prices. Use the prices to compile a job bid, and you will never get any work.

I've been away from estimating for a long time. I always used the "Biddle Book" for pricing. The prices are constantly updated.

Of course the only way for accuracy, is to get confirmed price quotes from the seller.

Re: National Pricing catalog

I have pricing catalogs from siemens, square d and murray, but the prices in there are list prices, and much higher than a contractor would pay for them. I told them that I was an Electrical Engineer and needed a binder with their products so I can specify their product. I generally use it for dimensions of panels etc. And I check it when I design a system, so I don't specify somthing that dosn't exist :)
