Our Local AHJ had open meetings for contractors in respects to North Carolina and what to look out for with changes in 2008', and noting whats been put on hold. I beleive a few threads have already addressed State issues. Thanks Roger!

These are some of what our Local (Durham) Inspectors will be looking for, and anyone In NC can also use as a guide line. Others here can also gain some insights, thus this Thread/Post.

A friend got a copy of this letter and he knows I'm eat up with the forum.
This is a basic summary of what was covered in the Code over-view meetings of 2008 NEC-70 - North Carolina.

Thanks for taking the time to put that together.

110.26(C)(3) was in the 05 as 110.26(C)(2). Why will the NC inspectors be looking for panic hardware now???

You know , I don't know why!

You know , I don't know why!

Well I guess, it was a review of the subject matter (article) that they, the AHJ felt was important to review, and sudo turns into a hey pay attention/overview/refresher.
And your Welcome!

I didn't not Check every sub-paragraghs of each article that was listed, and thanks for noting any mistakes!

If I do this again, I will use all the resources to correctly present the exact information relating to articles as listed in the NEC-70 2008' verses just listing what was a copy of letter.

Not an issue, I was just wondering if it wasn't enforced before.
