NC electrical bonding and insurance

I am looking into getting my intermediate license in NC. Can someone help me to understand insurance and bonding The NC website says I must provide a bonding ability statement that says i can do work above 40,000$. Does anybody have an idea how hard this is to get and how much it costs. Thank you in advance

Good credit will easily get you $100,000.00 in bonding. If you are set up with a bonding company the letter wont cost you anything.
