NC exam prep

Has anybody here used Mike's books for exam prep, if so, how much did they help. He seems to be one of the industry leaders on training, but I am curious how his books compare to whatever else is out there. I have an NC limited license now and will soon start studying for the unlimited. I am looking for the best resource the first time. I like seminars but do not have the time and money, (I don't live close enough to most, so there is travel, room and board). Thanks for the info.

I found the Mike Holt's DVD's was the break through to pass the exam. He goes into complete detail on each subject, Tom Henry has some good DVD's on motor calcualtions and Residential service calculations.
Mike Holt's Grounding vs Bonding a must.
