NEC 08 code

I have a question about my washer and dryer. i just moved into a new place an the guy forgot to put the outlet in for the plug! i was wondering what nec code size wire you would need and any other sugestions anyone has .

That would depend on the requirements for your particular washer/dryer.
(combination, separate, gas).
Since you are a student, why don't you bring this up at your schools and let us know what is decided.

Shane basically the requirements are pretty standard but they may vary with some model. You need to know if the dryer is gas or electric. The washer is generally 120V but I have seen some that are 240V
