Hi. Is it true that, according to NEC 2008, I'll have to tie together all circuits breakers if I run the circuit in the same conduit or I use a common jbox? Usually in commercial/industrial applications I run like 9 circuits per conduit in order to save some conduit and labor. Do I have to lock those 9 breakers together in the panel?

Take a look at the code sections 480sparky pointed out. These code sections apply to multiwire branch circuits.

You will not need to tie all 9 circuit breakers together just all the breakers that supply each multiwire branch circuit.

You will need to group each set also with tape or ties to identify which neutral goes with whch group of conductors.
