I was having a discussion with a fellow electrician on the change on NEC 2008 410.130(G)(2) Multiwire Branch Circuits disconnect for lights/luminares. I never relized this was NOT for all lights, but for 'double ended lamps (1).
Does anyone know why this is only for 'double ended' lamps and not for other lamps that share a neutral?? it looks to me a person can still get 'shocked' off a 'single ended lamp' on the neutral if they are changing the ballasts.
