"Mike" Bennett, accepted a rewrite of proposed Senate Bill 2026 proposed by Senator Thad Altman, representing parts of Brevard, Orange, and Seminole counties, that would have in its original form placed a moratorium on the adoption of new codes in Florida. That good but doesn’t really matter because most of the inspector contractors and owners could give two @#%$ about codes any way. There aren’t many that seem to follow the letter of the code in this area of Florida. But other than that cool.
