A switch is not an outlet so that is not the case. Thanks, I'm just hoping we don't have to install an afci if we replace a bad switch with a good one. A switch is not an outlet so that is not the case.

We have accepted the NEC 2011 and there are no amendments to that section that I am aware of so we do accept it in its entirety.Seems NC made one of the top states for having a business. Congrads!!!
Maybe they will accept the AFCI rules in entirety?seeing that business is going so well???..
