625.40 of the NEC 2017 states the following -

- What is the definition of an Outlet w.r.t to EV chargers?
- I have a scenario where 3 - Level 2 EV chargers are sharing a common 60A branch circuit. The wires for each charger are spliced together in a junction box, and fed by a 2-pole 60A breaker. The ALMS will restrict the maximum amp draw to 48A between the 3 chargers. Based on the language in 625.40, is it permissible to have 1 - 60A branch circuit serving 3 - Level 2 chargers? Individual wiring for each charger would originate from the junction box.
