NEC 2017 section 250.64(D)(1)

Please see attached sketch shows two diagrams. One left and one right.

The one left shows three service fused discos have GEC tap to ground bus and then one GEC goes to underground water pipe from which all electrodes are bonded.

The one right shows three service fused discos have GEC tap to ground bus and then individual GEC goes to grounding electrodes.


Which one is in compliant with NEC 2017 section 250.64(d)(1) in your opinion?

Both are compliant so long as the conductors are properly sized and properly located.

Ok i thought there would be difference since left one has common grounding electrode conductor and right one does Not have one
