NEC 210.60(B) Receptacle Placement:

"......Where receptacles are installed behind the bed, the receptacle shall be located to prevent the bed from contacting any attachment plug that may be installed or the receptacle shall be provided with a suitable guard."

For the suitable guard does anyone have link that they use for behind the bed receptacle guards?

I have no idea but I wonder if this would work From Home depot

A recessed rec similar to a kitchen clock rec would work

Although things could be moved around, most of these occupancies have a furniture schedule IME.

210.60 Guest Rooms, Guest Suites, Dormitories, and
Similar Occupancies.
IME showing where the bed is to be located has also been where to locate the receptacles in motels because management doesn't want the plugs in sight of the customer. I wouldn't even want to guess how many receptacles I've seen through the years that are located right behind where the mattress gets pushed up against the wall.

I imagine it could go both ways. I have not did hotels and have never paid attention staying in them.

I worked in dorms and the goal was to make sure data and electrical was close to desk location.
