Hello Everyone,
For NEC 220.82 says:
This section applies to a dwelling unit having the total connected load served by a single 120/240-volt or 208Y/120-volt set of 3-wire service or feeder
conductors with an ampacity of 100 or greater.
Does this mean 3 phase system is not allowed for this method? If the feeder conductor with ampacity of 100A or greater is OK for 3 phase?
If 3 phase is not allowed, what's the reasons behind it?
