I feel like this section gives me permission to use a transition fitting as a pull point. We often use a short piece of flex or seal tight to create an expansion joint in a non flexible pipe run. Im wondering if this section could be interpreted to allow these listed transition fittings to be used as pull points? Thoughts?

You would not be using the transition fitting as a pull point. The transition fitting makes the connection between the flexible conduit and the non-flexible conduit.
While disconnecting the flex to pull the cable is common, it is a technical violation of 300.18(A).
