NEC 314.71 straight pull: length of the box if conductors are spliced?

I am aware that the length of the box required is 48 times the outside diameter of the largest conductor (>1kV). If I have two raceways (4" each) and each raceway has three conductors (OD=1.25"), what should be the length of the box for the straight pull? Is it still 48 times 1.25"? What if the conductors are spliced? Both 314.71 (A) and (B) do not say anything about splicing.

It is eight, not forty eight, times the diameter of the largest conduit, not conductor, with no regard to spliced or unspliced conductors.

That would be mostly true if we were talking about conductors rated less than 1000V.

Oh, I see. I missed that part in your OP. I'm only familiar with less than 1000V conductors. Hopefully this exchange will catch the attention of some of the members who know how to help you out.
