Good morning to All!
Question regarding NEC 376.22(B): if there are (2) conduits inside the wireway and the total quantity of current carrying conductors inside those (2) conduits exceeds 30, but in the individual conduits the quantity doesn't exceed 30, do the conductors need to be derated per 310.15(B)(3)(a)?
Thanks, and have a great day!

If I asked you what the conductors were installed into and you said wireway and I then look in the wire way and see no wires .. well I think that pretty mucanswers it .

The conductors are in the raceway and the raceway is in the wireway but are the condcutors in the wireway? IMO no.

It's a vertically divided wireway. When we look at the wireway in cross section, on the left side of the divider, inside that part of the wireway, there are low voltage conductors. On the right side of the vertical divider, still in the wireway, but inside (2) conduits, there are the non-low voltage power conductors (about 16 and 16 in each conduit).

The anpacity of the conductors in each raceway must have their ampacities adjusted based on the number of current carrying conductors in the raceway. The wireway rules do not apply.
