Does anyone know when this meter pedestal location within line of site to mobile home was inserted into the NEC. If so, when was NEC 550.32 first adopted?

The 1978 NEC states "550.3. Power Supply. The mobile home service shall be located adjacent to the mobile home and not mounted in or on the mobile home."

Thanks, 102 Inspector, that is very helpful. Do you know if this same language was in the mid to late 1960’s or 1971 NEC or when it first appeared in the NEC?
