NEC 610.57 vs 110.26

Can someone clarify the workspace clearance (30") for cranes is less than what is required in 110.26?

NEC 610.57 vs 110.26

Does the workspace requirements of 610.57 less restrictive for cranes than 110.26 or is the requirements of Article 610 pertinent only for the restrictive space for cranes?

610.57 is restricted in its scope to cranes. Some cranes (gantry type) are usually accessed by boom/scissor lifts or ladders for their controls. Larger cranes usually have service walkways that are limited in width to the 2.5ft.
