2011 NEC 680 Part V deals with Fountains. Paragraph 680.50 refers you back to the provisions in Part 1 of NEC 680.
We have a decorative fountain out in front of a building. The fountain has submersible pumps. The control panel is located inside the building and has an integral load center with individual GFCI type circuit breakers for lights and pump motors.
Am I still required to have a local, line of sight disconnecting means for the submersible pump motors in order to comply with the Maintenance Disconnecting Means of 680.12?
