Can an individual source [NEC 695.3(A)] supply power to auxiliary loads in addition to the fire pump?
The planned installation would be an outdoor fire pump building that contains the fire pump and pump controller. There will also be auxiliary electrical equipment consisting of lighting and a heater. Due to the location and existing conduit runs to that area, the customer asked if a single feeder could be run to the building for all loads. Other than NEC 695.5(C), I can't find any reference to the feeder supplying auxiliary loads in addition to the fire pump itself. Is building lighting and space heating considered "accessory equipment" as stated in NEC 695.3(A)? Thanks.
