NEC 700.3(F) - Temporary Source of Power for Maintenance or Repair of the Alternate Source of Power.
Per NEC 700.3(F), have you seen AHJs require full compliance with the temporary source of power during maintenance of a UPS or inverter used as the primary emergency source?
I havent come across a setup where storage batteries are provided with an external switching equipment or interlocking specifically for temporary backup in this scenario. I've seen the connection for a temp alternate power source mainly when you have a life safety generator so I was wondering if there is any exception for batteries or how do you typically deal with this.
