I running 24 vdc PLC inputs and outputs in the same conduit with analog signal cables. The PLC is powered with a 5 amp, 120W, 120 VAC input, 24 VDC output. This power supply is not listed as a Class 1 or Class 2 power supply. Does this fall under NEC 725.49 (B), requiring all insulation to be 600 volt rated? Or does it fall under 300.3(C)(1) stating that all insulation be rated for the maximun circuit voltage? I'm just not sure if Article 725 even applies to the application. Very confusing!

With the 24 VDC conductors/cable I described, does this installation fall under Article 725 and require 600V insulation or can I use 300V insulation per 300.3(C)(1).

This is almost certainly a set of class 1 circuit conductors. Power supplies are listed as either power supplies or class two power supplies. I don't believe they're listed as class one.
