NEC 800.2 Abandoned Cable

May I ask please if anyone knows what the Tagging requirement is for unused low voltage cable that is intended to be left in place for future use after equipment is disconnected from it? Does the original cable wrap label specifying closet and patch panel location suffice, or does it require something more significant almost like tagging out an electrical circuit for maintenance?

800.25 Abandoned Cables. The accessible portion of abandoned
communications cables shall be removed. Where cables
are identified for future use with a tag, the tag shall be of sufficient
durability to withstand the environment involved.
Sounds to me like it has to be tagged for future use. I would think some kind of tag that just says "FUTURE" would be adequate.
