Yup that app was crap. Some paraphrased NEC sections and some slick ads for the NFPA. The only real solution is to get a pdf copy of the NEC and install it on your smart phone.

I have an online subscription to necplus. It gives you access to the NEC 2008 & 2011, also NFPA 70E 2009 & 2012. :thumbsup:

What that subscription cost?I downloaded the 2008 code on my iphone and it was $2.00. I was able to download the 2011 to my Nook that was a pdf. for free.

It's a yearly subscription that costs $139. Dont know if I will renew next year or not. You can go online to necplus and try one day free to see what you think of it.
