We're confused over the scope of this new article. The title of the article is industrial control panels and the definition given in 409.2 defines an industrial control panel as an assembly of a systematic and standard arrangement of two or more components. The definition goes to give several examples of the various types of components. It was brought to our attention that a simple 2-gang wall box with 2 switches could be considered to an industrial control panel per this definition. Can anyone define what 'systematic and standard arrangement' means?

I've been asking around to get some reading on a 'systematic and standard' definition. Everyone has their own ideas but thus far no agreement. Can anyone shed any light on the topic?
