I have a personal computer product whare a customer requires compliance with NEC Article 500 for Class 1, Division 1, Groups C & D environments. My question is - how is compliance demonstrated? Are there agencies or test labs that specialize in this? Thanks for any help!

Yes, there are test labs like Factory Mutual and UL who can do this. It will be very expensive. I don't think that I have ever seen a PC listed for Class 1 Div 1, but I have seen them for Div 2.
