NEC Clearance for lighting fixture in stairway

Love the forum. I recently replaced a florescent light fixture for a customer and moved the height of the new LED fixture up the wall to reduce the overall brightness at the top of a stairway. The customer is concerned about the clearance from the adjacent wall and ceiling. I can't find any codes that address this, but I have about 5" clearance all around. See the attached pictures.

Unless the instructions of the fixture require a certain distance.
