NEC code req. for fire rated enclosures

I have been looking for answers in the NEC about fire rated enclosures, and can't find any, does anyone knows what are the requirements the code has for fire rated enclosures and doors, in the electrical/mechanical rooms.

This will be a building code requirement. The NEC requirement for electrical spaces is in 110.26.

Check out section 450.21

450.21 doesn't state anything, and also another question, what are the requirements for electrical room spacing, I have a 1600A service room, how can i figure out the dimension of the room...

You asked about fire rating. I told you to look at 450.21, and yet you claim it doesn't say anything. Take a look at (B) where it discusses 1 hour construction.

Now, you are asking how big your room needs to be, and Tom already answered that.

How can you figure out the dimensions? I don't know, maybe with a tape measure? :roll:
