300.4(B) requires listed grommets for NM cables, and protection via plates for NM cables and smurf tube(ENT) within 1-1/4 inch, just like in wood studs.
As far as bonding or grounding of the studs, it is not usually required. It is considered sufficient to depend upon the mounting hardware of the wiring method and the enclosures to sufficiently bond the steel to the equipment grounding conductor. However, 250.104(B) may require that the steel be bonded. If the steel studs in question are structural, and may become energized, and are exposed, then it must be bonded to the service enclosure or the GE System.
