What part of NEC details length limit of conduit inside a residential kitchen cabinet?
Here is situation:
I have a 20amp circuit that feeds off a 20amp GFI wall receptacle out through a cabinet to a 15amp receptacle on side of the cabinet. The conduit contains 12 gauge wire and needs to be 6ft in length.
The floor is concrete so wire cannot come up from floor, and I do not want to run Romex under the cabinet since basements can flood.
Is it safe to use 6ft of conduit containing 12 gauge wire? I know wire needs to be derated if run through conduit but not sure how much.
Thanks,
Glen Ireland
