Hello,

I am trying to learn design and i was browsing Mikeholt website for books and i came across the DVD set for the whole code..Just want to know if its worth it to buy those coz they are little expensive than regular textbooks..

Any opinions or advice is really appreciated..

First off, what does "learning design" have to do with the NEC?

As far as DVD vs textbooks, that's a choice that's up to you. I will say a "visual" is sometimes easier to understand than just reading it.

When you design a residential or a commercial space you have to meet NEC standards like spacing between receptacles and receptacle heights and other stuff like that...Thats what i was referring to..

Mike's DVD are excellent and as Bill stated sometime a visual lesson is easier to retain than something from a book. You can look on YouTube and see samples of Mike's videos.
