NEC/NEMA/ NEPA/IEEE

I need brief information regarding these standards NEC/NEMA/NEPA/IEEE, I know it is huge question but I need in brief where we are using these standard and the main rules in installation of electrical equipment.NEMA types only for panel board or any equipment.
