i tried to check the NEC on line but could not get it...is this still good???...i tried id 7005SB...no luck

I don't know what that ID means or how it was ever intended to be used.

But there is information on getting free on-line access to the NEC in the FAQ section of the NEC topic area. Look here.

tried to put this in FACS above where one of the FACS outlined how to pull up the NEC...which i tried and couldn't get to work....is there a trick beyond entering the id ????

Copy the whole address beginning with http and ending with the ID number and paste it in your browser. The NFPA website says you must have cookies and Java enabled.
