Hey, it opens a 'find' dialog in many applications, I just tried in all my current open applications and it worked in all but email program. In my email, it opens current message in forwarded message mode.

There are always exceptions to computer 'standards'. It comes about because all computer programmers are brilliant and believe their ideas are better than accepted convention. [I know I are one.] Seriously, a good design principle is "least surprise" which means your program ought to work in the way that is least surprising to the user. There may be a good reason that your email program uses ctrl-F as forward....:huh:
