I’m not quite sure which table to use on this installation. Facing the front of the panel, I have 3-1/C #4/0 entering the side of the enclosure and terminates on a 200A CB installed vertically close to the top of panel— I’d say within 1.5”; which is it not nearly enough to bend the cable 90 degrees in order to attach to the lugs.
To me 312.6A applies and 4” min is needed. However it could also be viewed as a perpendicular connection in which case, 7” min is required per 312.6B. Thoughts?

If this a listed panel or field constructed one? Listed panels meet the requirements provided the conductor entries are at the locations specified by the manufacturer.

Lower or rotate the breaker, or have some kind of angle terminals or lugs made.

Can’t move the breaker because it’s interlocked with the panel front (door).
The only option I see is to enter through the top and go directly into the lugs, i e straight connection.
What I want to do is show the manufacturer his panel is non compliant with 312.6.
Many Thanks, Larry and Don
