There are a couple posts about this topic but it seems that the answer I am looking for wasn't given.

Table 550.31 shows that you can have a percentage decrease with multiple mobile homes (Manufactured Homes). But how is it figured.

With 2 homes, 1 is 200 amp, 1 is 100 amp per the manufacturer plate on the side of the home and inside, the main disconnect does have a 200 and a 100.

The table shows 1 home = 100%, 2 homes = 55%.

Is the calculation 200 + 100 = 300 @ 55% = 165 amps
Or is it (200 @ 100% = 200) + (100 @ 55% = 55) = 255 amps

And/or 550.31 says use minimum - the highest of either 16000 VA for each lot or as calculated in 550.18. So should I insert the calc's in the above two examples.

Is the 200 amp & 100 amp the calculated load?? if so then IMO the first way you did it would be correct. In terms of the 16,000 watts per 550.31-- you would only use that if the calculated load for the unit was less than 16,000. In other words, you would use the larger of the calculation or 16KW-- no home would be calculated less than 16kw
